Churchwarden Clay Pipe

Clay pipes are very smokeable and you get a very true taste of the tobacco. Clay pipes were smoked for centuries including during our colonial times.

While they are a work of art to behold, the down side is that they should be treated gingerly. Most standard pipe cleaners will not fit thru the long shank so be careful not to get the pipe plugged.

The shank is about 13 inches long.

The bowl is 2 inches hight by 1 inch diameter.
 
The tip is smooth and round. 
 
The brown coloring extends approximately 5 1/2 inches from the tip town to the shank.
